Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before engaging The Lincoln Studio for any services. By booking a discovery call, signing a proposal, or making a payment, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. About The Lincoln Studio

The Lincoln Studio is a web design studio operated by Victoria Ferré, based in Barcelona, Spain. We provide Squarespace website design services to small businesses worldwide. Contact: hello@thelincolnstudio.studio

2. Services

The Lincoln Studio offers Squarespace website design packages including the Starter Site, Signature Site, Shop & Sell, and VIP Day, as well as additional services such as website audits, logo design, copywriting, and monthly maintenance. The scope of each project is defined in the individual project proposal sent to the client prior to commencement.

3. Project Process

All projects begin with a free 30-minute discovery call. Following this, a proposal outlining the scope, timeline, and investment is sent to the client. The project commences upon receipt of the signed proposal and deposit payment. Any work outside the agreed scope will be quoted separately.

4. Payment Terms

A non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total project fee is required to secure your project start date. The remaining balance is due prior to the website launch and transfer of files. Failure to make payment on time may result in delays to your project timeline. All prices are quoted in Euros (EUR). The Lincoln Studio reserves the right to adjust pricing with reasonable notice.

5. Revisions

Each package includes a specified number of revision rounds as outlined in your proposal. Revisions must be submitted in a single consolidated document. Additional revision rounds beyond those included will be charged at an hourly rate of €75/hour. Revisions do not include changes to the original agreed scope of work.

6. Client Responsibilities

The client agrees to provide all required content, images, copy, branding materials and feedback within the agreed timeframes. Delays caused by the client may result in the project being rescheduled. The Lincoln Studio is not responsible for delays resulting from the client's failure to provide materials or feedback in a timely manner.

7. Intellectual Property

Upon receipt of final payment, the client owns the completed website design. The Lincoln Studio retains the right to display the completed project in its portfolio and marketing materials unless otherwise agreed in writing. All design work created during the project remains the property of The Lincoln Studio until full payment is received.

8. Third-Party Platforms

The Lincoln Studio builds websites exclusively on the Squarespace platform. The client is responsible for maintaining their own Squarespace subscription, domain registration, and any third-party tool subscriptions (such as Google Workspace, Acuity Scheduling, or email marketing platforms). The Lincoln Studio is not responsible for changes made by Squarespace or any third-party platform that may affect the website after launch.

9. Limitation of Liability

The Lincoln Studio's total liability to the client for any claim arising out of or in connection with the services shall not exceed the total amount paid by the client for the project in question. The Lincoln Studio is not liable for any indirect, consequential, or incidental damages, including but not limited to loss of revenue, loss of data, or loss of business opportunities.

10. Cancellation Policy

If the client cancels the project after work has commenced, the deposit is non-refundable. If The Lincoln Studio cancels the project, any payments made beyond the deposit will be refunded. Cancellations must be made in writing via email to hello@thelincolnstudio.studio.

11. Confidentiality

Both parties agree to keep confidential any sensitive business information shared during the project. The Lincoln Studio will not share client information with third parties without prior written consent, except where required by law.

12. Dispute Resolution

In the event of a dispute, both parties agree to first attempt to resolve the matter through informal negotiation. If a resolution cannot be reached within 30 days, the dispute may be referred to mediation or arbitration. These terms are governed by the laws of Spain.

13. Changes to These Terms

The Lincoln Studio reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. The most current version will always be available at thelincolnstudio.studio/terms. Continued use of our services following any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
